Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at the hotel and found the rooms to be comfortable and clean, with a nice and warm small double bedroom. However, the rooms were cozy with a good tea/coffee tray and overall very clean.
The hotel is located above a night club, which can be noisy at times, but it's perfect for exploring Scarborough with its close proximity to the train and bus stations. The service was friendly with helpful staff, although at times there seemed to be a lack of staff attending to guests. The dining experience offered a good variety of options, but service could be slow during peak times. The rooms, while high up above the seafront, lacked sea views and had some cleanliness issues, but the staff were accommodating in addressing complaints. Overall, a convenient location with friendly service, but room quality could be improved.
The hotel had a tired ambiance and the room I got was not as expected. However, the service was top-notch with friendly staff who were always helpful. The location was superb, exceeding my 3-star expectations, but the place could use a facelift. The dining experience was good, with a nice selection despite some preferences. Overall, a mixed but decent stay.
